Changes to CCNP Certification Exams and Courses

On 29 July 2014, Cisco announced changes to the Cisco CCNP certification for network professionals. The name of the certification has changed from “CCNP” to “CCNP Routing and Switching,” and the three exams, ROUTE, SWITCH, and TSHOOT, have been revised. The new exams include more emphasis on IPv6 and additional focus on Cisco StackWise, virtual switching services, and Dynamic Multipoint VPN (DMVPN). The prior exams will continue to be available until 29 January 2015.
