CCNA-CyberSecurity Operations covers knowledge and skills needed to successfully handle the tasks, duties, and responsibilities of an associate-level Security Analyst working in a Security Operations Center (SOC). To apply and earn the industry certification CCNA Cyber Ops you need to take 2 exams:

  • 210-250 SECFND Understanding Cisco Cybersecurity Fundamentals (SECFND)
  • 210-255 SECOPS Implementing Cisco Cybersecurity Operations (SECOPS)

Contents: Network threats, attacks and protection in a computer network. Securing of network devices, secure access using AAA, defining roles and user privileges. Implementation of Firewall technologies, principles of detection IDS and configuration of IPS prevention systems . Securing of local networks and cryptographic principles. Configuring of virtual private networks, Site – to-site IPsec VPN, GRE tunnels and implementation of Cisco ASA solutions via ASDM.

Course duration: Total=8×5 hour long meetings, out of which 7x5hour long theory + practical lab excercises. Final= theoretical and practical exam.
Duration 8-10 wks.
Prerequisites: Ideal graduate of CCNA1-4 or  CCNA knowledge level.

After successfully passing the theoretical and practical final exam, student receives a certificate confirming completion of the course.

Completion of the course is the first step to prepare the student for the industrial certification 210-260 IINS Implementing Cisco IOS Network Security ( IINS ) .
