Cisco Certified Support Technician (CCST)
Cisco and Certiport, a Pearson VUE business, are collaborating to add a third certification focused on IT Support. This new certification will be called Cisco Certified Support Technician IT Support and is currently under development. We expect this certification exam to launch around June or July 2024.
This will be the third certification within the CCST program and will provide a validation of work-ready skills and knowledge necessary to help start careers in roles such as IT End User Support, IT Help Desk Support, Computer Support Specialists, and IT Help Desk Analyst. The Cisco Certified Support Technician IT Support certification will help round out the CCST program to address some of the most in demand jobs that help launch careers across support, networking, and cybersecurity.
In the future Cisco Networking Academy plans to provide learning content for candidates to prepare for the new CCST IT Support certification. Watch for more details, including the certification blueprint, to follow.
